We welcome Pedro to the Cobot Maker Space. Pedro is a PhD student focusing on improving the precision and efficiency of teleoperated robot arm control for pick-and-place tasks. The user will receive multiple feedback modalities, including visual, cutaneous, and mixed feedback, to guide them through the correct path and help determine the optimal timing for picking and placing the target object. This project aims to assess the user’s mental and physical workload through subjective (NASA-TLX) and objective (Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy) methods, and is expected to benefit fields like industrial maintenance, remote surgery, and assistive technologies.
