Digital Twins for Human – Assistive Robot Teams

In order to accelerate the development and deployment of assistive robots in health and social care, the Digital Twins for Human-Assistive Robot Teams project will investigate approaches for developing and using digital twins which incorporate co-dependent and co-evolved models representing patients and assistive robots.   To simulate, verify and validate adaption of assistive robots to support users with complex needs, a framework for human–assistive robot digital twin teams will be developed.  This research aims to contribute to increased trust, understanding and development of new standards for assistive robotics.
