Conflict aware collaboration with robots
This MSC project is about conflict aware collaboration with robots and seeks to address the conflicts faced in a physical Human-Robot Interaction (pHRI). This is an interesting research problem as it aims to analyse a conflict in a partnership where the robot learns intelligent interaction behaviour from its counterpart while playing a game in a virtual environment setting. When there occurs a conflict between the human and the robot, the conflict will be classified in real time and a resolution is aimed to be implemented. This is a unique problem as similar experiment has been performed in Human- Human Interaction but no research has been conducted for Human-Robot Interaction to resolve conflicts in real time.
Start date 1 June 2021 – 31 January 2022
