We welcome Jinyao to the Cobot Maker Space. Jinyao is a mature student at the University of Nottingham, studying towards an MSc in Mental Health. Jinyao’s work will explore the perceptions of people with dementia and family carers in South Asian communities interacting with telepresence robots and whether there are difficulties in using the robots due to cultural differences. Jinyao will be using our living room – which models the home environment – to work with participants interacting with telepresence robots.
